Videos

Over the years I have made a series of videos showing various features on the railway. Some are general shots of running sessions, some show specific aspects of the development of the railway or its stock, some are tours of the railway and some show how I created or constructed things.

Below is a categorised list. Alternatively, you can view the videos using my YouTube Playlist.

In converting a LGB Stainz to battery power, can the skates and bus bars be isolated without the need to remove the wheels. This is something I wish to do but am hesitant about too much dismantling.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Mike
The wheels will need to be removed to take off the bus bars, but it's not a difficult job. Just a few screws holding the bottom plate in place. The wheels, axles and valve gear just lift off and then slot back in. Just make sure the cranks are aligned when putting the axles back into their slots. They usually fall back into line straight away of their own accord.
